Thunder Rising: Summary

Thunder Rising:
So far in the book we have, well I have, gotten to the point where tension has grown very high and cats have their fur going everywhere all the time. But when Turtle Tail comes back, a cat who left the life of freedom and went to go with Bumble a kittypet and now is back (YAAAAY!), and Wind and Gorse, 2 rogue cats they ran into but are friends, have shown this new place of hunting. This place is kind of like the forest but still isn't. They help Turtle Tail find a nice fat pigeon, because she can't hunt very well because she's having kits and will be due soon, but when they find a pigeon and kill it they start eating and meet a very strange cat named River Ripple. After that came 2 dogs and the cats race back but unable to run fast enough they barely have enough time to hide from them in their camp.

Predictions:
My predictions are that

• Thunder will go to his father's camp and try proving his worth.
• Jagged Peak went after Thunder to keep him away and keep him safe

Overall:
Overall this book has great detail. It's like a movie in my head and I can't stop reading. This book has great adventure and some danger. I think this is a kid friendly book and people who like nature, adventure, fantasy and cats will love this book.

Yes I know I have already done a post but this is special!!!! My questions and Possibly predictions on this book!!!!


Questions:

• What will happen to Jagged Peak?

• Will Grey Wing and Clear Sky make up?

• Or will they end up in a deadly battle?

• What might happen to Turtle Tail and Grey Wing?

• What will happen after, if their is a battle?

All these answers will answered if you read the books. I will say this book is amazing. Other people say it's for cat ladies and freaky weirdo people but its very well written and has a great adventure in store for you!

Thunder Rising: Character Analysis

Summary:
Hey guess what time it is! It's blog time! So far in this book Turtle Tail an old friend of the group of cats has come back from the soft life of a kittypet and into the wildlife style again. Grey Wing has realized that he missed her so much and how much she means to him. She fills the gap in his heart! Jagged Peak, Grey Wing's little brother, hasn't been able to do anything since he broke his leg in the first book. Right now Jagged Peak is always turned away and wants to help everyone.

Jagged Peak:
Jagged Peak isn't really the main character but is still the main characters brother. Jagged Peak is always turned down and wants to help but he can't from his broken leg. He was turned down from his other brother, Clear Sky, and went to live with Grey Wing. The brothers fight each other and it creates a wall between the forest and the moor. Jagged Peak is unable to do anything but I think he will be able to overcome his broken leg and be able to do something amazing.

Warrios: Thunder rising-Recommendation

Summary:
I haven't read much of this book only a few pages. But so far I have read the Prologue and it's about Thunder, a little kit, that visits his mother, Storm, and they talk about his father and how he never wants him around.Yes I know I shouldn't read any Warriors books but I couldn't resist because Thunder Rising is a new Warriors book and I have not read it and this is a new series that leads up to the original series. But to get back on track Clear Sky is Thunder's father and since he was rejected Grey Wing, Clear Sky's brother, has took a watchful eye on him and Thunder can't help but feeling totally rejected and useless. But the next book, The Next Battle, is coming out in July so I'm planning to have this one done so I can move on and get all the books have to offer to me.

Recommendation:
I think this book would be great for adventurous people and people who like cats. Like my sister and old cat ladies. I think this book will be great to people who like a little bit of fantasy and a little bit of maybe this is real. The Warriors has really changed my life on my way of thinking about nature and my point of view of other animals. Also how sometimes life can be hard.

What is McCarthyism?

-a vociferous campaign against alleged communists in the US government and other institutions carried out under Senator Joseph McCarthy in the period 1950

 

This just means it's like an uprising against alleged communist. This was in the 1950 but it doesn't this idea is still among us. But on wiki it says it was a practice.(Don't trust wiki it's not all true!)

• Does that mean it's a religious kind of thing?

 

In even more stupid terms they practiced disloyalty or treason without proper guard or evidence to back up their claim. Some people called this the Second Red Scar. This showed the height of the people's terror of communist and how it influences the US.
